On March 30th, 2008, suddenly at her home in Spring Edge, Hilda aged 69 years, loving partner of Charles, loving Mam of Billy and Paul, dear mother-in-law of Julie and Louise, devoted nana to Mark, Sherraden, Janine, Joanne, Elisa and Ashlie, great nana to William, Lily, Lauren and Leah, a loving sister and a good friend to many.
Life seems so cruel sometimes nan. I miss you and mum so much and i need you both to take care of jack. I know he'll have you giggling with that infectious laugh of his. I love you lots xxxx

I am sorry to see you have passed away Hilda, I have not seen you for many, many years, but I have never forgotten the days when we worked at Harrella's you and Nellie did look out for me, you were like clucking hens where I was concerned.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for being my friend all those years ago and I hope the Angels are watching over you now.

Its my birthday tomorrow! 23! can you believe it?? how old am i getting?! I can just hear you "oooo, i remember when i could put you under one arm and get on the bus with your pram and all the shopping". I can't believe how much everything has changed since you've been gone. For the good and for the bad. Don't worry though nan, i'll work it out. Although i bet you'd have a few choice words.
